Keep: Life Through Ephemera

Personal Project

Keep is an archival book that documents and contrasts my own life and the life of my grandmother through the objects we kept and the themes of childhood, friendships, family, and achievement found between them. The process of sifting through a physical collection of ephemera is emulated through interactive envelopes with pictures, unfoldable letters, and newspaper clippings. The cover design is a scan of one of the many manila folders that my grandma’s collection was stored in with her handwriting acting as the title.
